Product Details

Tire Guide Pro (TGP) is our tire fitment software/database. Tire Guides, Inc. has been supplying quality tire fitment data to the Tire Industry for over forty years. This data has been distributed as a publication called "Tire Guides". In 1989, Pearl Communications joined forces with Tire Guides, Inc. to release the tire fitment data in an electronic format. The result of this alliance is the software package known as Tire Guide Pro (TGP). TGP has become the "Number One" source for accurate tire fitment information for single-user, network, web, POP and POS applications.

TGP gives you access to all the tire fitment information as published in the Tire Guides book. This fitment data covers vehicle years from 1983 through 2010. TGP will give you access to OE tire sizing, alternate OE tire Sizing, air pressure recommendations, OE rim specifications (number of holes & bolt circle), maximum gross weight and lug nut torque.

Our OEM Sizing module is based on the OEM Tire Size Guide produced by Tire Guides. This database offers brand name and sizing information on the specific OE tire(s) for a specific vehicle. Our data covers 2009 and most of the last ten model years. This module is great for marketing and tire size trends. Also, the user can view lists of all the vehicles with the same tire size "at a glance".

With over 30% of aftermarket tire sales involving plus fitments, the new Plus Sizing module for Tire Guide Pro is a must. This valuable tool helps tire professionals determine additional tire sizing options for their customers. Tire Guide Pro offers plus fitments for most passenger and many light trucks for the model years of 2000 through 2010. Also, this new module includes offset information to assist in the mounting of new tires and wheels. We have based these fitments on conservative industry standard formulas that consider overall diameter, section width, and load carrying capacity.

ALWAYS CONSULT AND FOLLOW THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER'S REPLACEMENT TIRE RECOMMENDATIONS.

Certain vehicle manufacturer's may advise against the application of replacement tires other than that of the same size and type of the original equipment tires. For this reason, always check with and follow the vehicle manufacturer's replacement tire recommendations.
